About Deb Lindsay Studios
Deb Lindsay’s most recent accomplishments are “Best of Show and first place” at the Utah State Fair in September 2009. She also received top honors of “Best of Show” and 1st Place at the Duchesne County Fair in August 2009.
Deb currently lives at the foothills of the Uintah Basin in North Eastern Utah. Deb has enjoyed paint wall murals and creating beautiful glass sculptures using the lampworking methods. The most intriguing type of art to her is carving free standing sculptures. She says “It is interesting to see the image that is in my head come to life.”
Gun stocks, fireplace mantles, wall panels, wood pictures, beautiful cabinets, or stand alone sculptures are among some of the projects she has chosen to sculpt.
“When I am asked to sculpt for a client, it becomes a challenge to make this project more beautiful and true to life than the one I have just completed. The highest honor I receive is when I place the art in the customer’s hands and see their faces light up with pleasure.” Deb says.
Deb enjoys listening to others hunting experiences or stories grandpa told years ago. Then she will carve the story into sculptures, wall murals and gun stocks, thus preserving the cherished moment for years to come. “It becomes a keepsake to be handed down from generation to generation, the possibilities are endless,” Deb says.
Deb believes each day is a new challenge to her. To become better then she was yesterday. As Keith Hone always says, “The road to success is always under construction.” This is a motto Deb lives by.
Thank you for taking the time to visiting. Deb looks forward to meeting you in person.
